My name is Roy Kelly, jr and I am a K-3rd Visual/Media Arts Teacher. I received my bachelor degree in Media Arts and Animation from the Art Institute in Tucson, Arizona. There I studied a variety of art disciplines such as sculpture, drawing, graphics, etc.

I am very well versed in 3D modelling and sculpting with Zbrush. As well as rendering different passes in Keyshot. I am also very well versed in digital drawing using Photoshop and very good knowledge of Illustrator.

 

Skills:

• Good 3D modeling and sculpting skills using Zbrush
• Texturing – good skills in creating diffuse, normal, specular and displacement  maps for high poly and low poly 3D assets.
• Strong traditional drawing and sculpting skills and excellent knowledge of silhouette, form and volume, lights, shadows and color.
• Solid technical and problem solving skills.

• Rendering different passes in Keyshot.
• Strong digital drawing skills and compositing using Photoshop.
• Very good communication and team work skills gained from many work placements.
• Organized and efficient.
• Very good project management skills– ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

 I am deeply passionate about creating creature art and personal development. I enjoy sculpting digitally and painting.  My goal right now is to become and art teacher or instructor so that I can pass my knowledge and techniques to future generations.
